Whether it’s your first time at EXPO or you’re a seasoned pro, this checklist is here to help you prepare for a productive and comfortable experience!

✅ What to Pack

Comfortable Footwear
You’ll be on your feet for most of the day—pack supportive shoes for walking the trade show floor.

Business Cards
Networking is a key part of EXPO. Bring plenty of business cards for conversations, prize entries, and booth contacts.

Light Layers or Jacket
Convention centers can be chilly, especially in education rooms—bring something light to throw on.

Mobile Phone + Charger
Install the EXPO Mobile App ahead of time to view the agenda, exhibitor list, maps, transportation and receive important updates. Don’t forget your charger (or a portable one)! Simply look up Nursery Landscape EXPO 2025 on either the Google Play Store or App Store.

Notebook or Folder
For CEU sessions and new contacts—while the app helps, many attendees still like to take handwritten notes.

Badge & ID
You’ll need your registration badge for access & you’ll also need an ID.

Hand Sanitizer, Lip Balm, & Water Bottle
Texas in August can be dry! Stay comfortable and hydrated throughout the day.

Leave Room in Your Luggage
Exhibitors often hand out samples, flyers, and goodies. Consider bringing a tote bag or leaving space in your luggage.

What to Expect

Daily Schedule
EXPO kicks off with special events and education starting at 8:00 AM. The trade show floor opens mid-morning. Full schedule available in the mobile app and online HERE.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Many sessions qualify for CEUs. Make sure to sign in at the door and keep your attendance sheet for credit. View the full EXPO schedule

Lunch & Snacks
Food options are available on-site, but lines may be long during peak hours. You’re welcome to bring snacks or plan an off-site lunch nearby.

Special Events
From the Welcome Party to Women in Horticulture and the Certification Reception, EXPO offers more than just education—expect lively networking opportunities each day. RSVP HERE

️ Parking & Transportation
